Since the year 2000 we have started our production of vine following the system of ecological agriculture.

We started planting a small plot of • about 2000 m2. The intention was to continue making wine from home.

Homemade wine was a very old Mallorcan tradition that consisted in making wine for its own consumption. A few families were gathered together and, working together, made the wine that was then distributed.

The grapes came from their own vineyards or others that they would harvest and buy.

Times were changing, the vineyards were old, people were looking for easy money and the vine was busy. Then the vines were neglected and snatched away. We are talking about the 70s.

One of the villages that lasted the longest vineyards was Felanitx and my family moved every year to harvest grapes and then made our homemade wine.

But when we became part of the European Economic Community, subsidized vineyard starts. Most people started their vine and we see that it was getting harder to find grapes to buy.
This explains why we sembréssim vineyard to be able to follow the family tradition. We decided to plant Monastrell as we wanted a quick (young) wine of good production.

The problems appeared quickly. We needed a suitable tractor, some specific tools, a place to make the wine with good conditions, some deposits, some machines, …

Of course, with everything we needed we could make more wine without increasing almost nothing the cost. So we decided to plant more vineyard.

We will select the type of vine that gave good performance in Mallorca and that, in a short time, could produce quality wines.

So we will sow Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah and, in order not to lose the varieties that were formerly used to make wine in Mallorca, we will also sow Callet, Fogoneu and Manto Negro.

And now we are here after these years with the pride of showing that the ecological system of cultivating the vine works. With the satisfaction of seeing that most of our wines are recognized with national and international awards. And above all, with the joy of seeing face to face as we like our wine to the people who try it.
Our current plantation is 2.5 Ha and all the wines are made from the grapes of our vineyards.
